The Roberts Group, LLC (TRG) was established on March 1, 2000. The current client list at TRG includes the Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association of the United States (FEMA), the national trade association for firms that create and manufacture flavors for use in a wide variety of foods, drugs, and cosmetics. There are approximately 125 members of FEMA who, as a client of our predecessor firm for 35 years, wholeheartedly endorsed TRG as the successor management firm. We manage more than $4 million each year in member funds for FEMA and run their extensive, internationally respected scientific and regulatory programs. FEMA’s Web site can be found at www.femaflavor.org

Another group with longstanding ties to TRG is the Fragrance Materials Association of the U.S. (FMA). FMA is the national trade association for firms that create and manufacture fragrances for use in a wide variety of consumer products, including fine perfumes, cosmetics, soaps, and detergents. We manage $900,000 in member funds each year for FMA. Learn more about FMA at www.fmafragrance.org.

The International Association of Color Manufacturers (IACM) is the international association for firms that manufacture and extract colors for FDA-regulated use in foods, drugs, and cosmetics. The IACM has 15 members, including firms based in the U.S., Europe and Japan. Like other TRG clients, IACM receives scientific, regulatory and legislative, as well as overall association management services. The IACM scientific program, staffed and managed in the offices of TRG, is the only global program devoted to the safety of food colors. TRG manages a $500,000 budget for IACM. More information on IACM is available at www.iacmcolor.org.

TRG also manages the Flavor and Fragrance High Production Volume Consortia (FFHPVC). This program was created to help the flavor and fragrance industries comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency High Production Volume program. The FFHPVC budget is approximately $1.4 million.

The National Japanese American Memorial Foundation (NJAMF) also turns to TRG for professional management services. This foundation was formed to establish a Memorial to Japanese American Patriotism in the Nation's Capital. Since the dedication of that memorial on November 9, 2000, NJAMF's mission has shifted to supporting educational efforts to raise awareness about the memorial and the Japanese American experience during World War II. The Memorial to Japanese American Patriotism is located in Washington , D.C. just north of the Capitol on a triangular plot bounded by Louisiana Avenue, New Jersey Avenue and D Street NW . Find out more about NJAMF at www.njamf.com .

In January of 2005, TRG assumed management of Pickle Packers International, Inc. (PPI). This association has served the pickled vegetable industry for more than 100 years by sponsoring research, influencing public policy, supplying educational materials, and providing networking opportunities to its members. Today, membership includes 87 percent of the cucumbers grown for pickle use in North America . Member firms include processors, salters and green shippers, brokers, growers, seed companies, ingredient suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and those providing goods and services to the industry. PPI's presence is world-wide, with members from a dozen countries. More information on PPI is available at www.ilovepickles.org .
