REGULATORY AND LEGISLATIVE SUPPORT

TRG Government Relations provides comprehensive legislative and regulatory support for several trade associations. John Cox heads up TRG Government Relations, working with Glenn Roberts to represent client associations before the U.S. Congress, as well as state and federal agencies.

Our successes include the formation and support of industry committees that track legislative and regulatory developments. We plan and host workshops and conferences that put our clients in direct contact with the regulators. Confidential regulatory compliance assistance is provided one-on-one to member companies, and we confer with dozens of federal and state agencies. Federal regulatory policy is developed on several levels:

1. Legislators write the laws.
2. Agencies interpret these statutes and publish regulations.
3. Agency personnel conducting inspections decide how to enforce these regulations.

FOOD FACILITY REGISTRATION
