Ellen Gardner is the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer for The Roberts Group and is the Executive Director of the International Association of Color Manufacturers.

Ellen has over twenty years experience in the not for profit industry. She has worked with a diverse group of not for profits including independent schools, public and private universities, national membership organizations, trade associations, social service agencies, industry coalitions, real estate management companies, condominium associations, and cooperative financial institutions.

Ellen has both consulting and operations experience. As a Senior Manager with Beers & Cutler Outsourcing LLC, she specialized in board governance, investment policy development and oversight, financial operations and process engineering for not for profit organizations.

Ellen’s operations experience is from opportunities as varied as the Chief Financial Officer for a large social services agency, Finance Officer at the University of Maryland, and Special Projects Director for an international specialty retailer. Ellen has an extensive background in treasury services, day to day accounting operations, financial analysis, portfolio management, inventory control, information systems selection and implementation, contract negotiation, grants management and budgeting.
