Marian J. Marshall, “MJ”, is the Director of Government Relations at The Roberts Group. Ms. Marshall joined TRG in late 2005. She works closely with John Cox in the day to day management of the regulatory and legislative programs for all of our clients.  MJ has more than 25 years experience providing government relations and public affairs support to trade associations, corporations and Congressional leaders. MJ’s expertise is in occupational safety and health and regulatory compliance.

Before joining TRG, MJ held key positions with U.S. Senator Malcolm Wallop (ret.), the Senate Energy Committee and was more recently the Director of Government Relations for the Mason Contractors Association of America. Ms. Marshall represents TRG clients before state and federal agencies as well as the U.S. Congress.

MJ has a BA from Catawba College. In her free time she enjoys spending time kayaking, hiking, fishing and waterskiing, and playing soccer with her two dogs.  MJ lives in Arlington, Virginia.
