Sean Taylor is the Assistant Scientific Director at The Roberts Group. Sean joined TRG in January 2006. Before joining TRG, Sean was an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at The Ohio State University and a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland.

Sean received a BS in Chemistry from Penn State University, and MS and PhD degrees in Chemistry from Cornell University, where he studied vitamin biosynthesis using organic chemistry and biochemistry methods. In his free time he enjoys golfing, biking and exploring the D.C. area. Sean lives in Washington, D.C.
